Our pricing includes a stunning online gallery to wow your friends and family and 50km base travel! We also have photobooks and canvasses. These can be ordered from your private online gallery after you receive your photos.

We may use associate photographers for event coverage, with all images edited in Amour’s signature style.

Weekday bookings are available from 3:30 PM (Monday–Friday). As Saturdays are typically reserved for weddings, weekend events can only be booked within 3 months from the event date.

I will arrive a few minutes before the scheduled time to settle in.

DELIVERY DAY

You will receive a link to your online gallery a few days after the event with a preview of about 10-20 images. The full gallery will be added within 3-4 weeks depending on our schedule.

You can now order printing products and select your favourites for prints. Production can take up 14 days at our suppliers for prints. We will contact you to arrange for collection once we have your package ready.

1. WHAT IS INCLUDED and how many images do i receive?

All our packages includes:

Digital images edited in our signature style

An online gallery which is available for 4 weeks for shoots & events and 6 months for weddings.

We deliver all the images from your session. As a guide, you can expect roughly:

60–80 images for a 1-hour shoot

150+ images for a 2-hour shoot event

500+ images for an 8-hour wedding

2. HOW DO WE BOOK YOU?

Simply complete the form on our contact page to start the booking process. A 50% deposit is required for shoots and events, and a 35% deposit for weddings, payable within 24 hours of your booking request. If payment isn’t received within that time, the date will be released. The remaining balance is due 2 days before your shoot or event date.

3. do you have locations for shoots?

Yes. I typically photograph in and around Stellenbosch, Paarl, Franschhoek, and Somerset West, using a selection of carefully chosen locations that offer the best light and setting.

These include a mix of beach, forest, open fields, and wine farm-style landscapes, depending on the look you’re drawn to.

If you have a specific location in mind, you’re welcome to get in touch before booking to chat through the details and ensure it’s a good fit.

Please note that any permit or location fees (for private venues or reserves) are not included and may incur additional costs.

4. WILL MY PHOTOS BE SHARED ONLINE?

We value your privacy and treat all client galleries with care. Your gallery is password-protected, and your personal details are used only for communication and image delivery — never shared or sold.

We occasionally share a few featured images from sessions on our website or social pages, but not every shoot is published. If you’d prefer to keep your images completely private, just let us know in writing and we’ll happily respect that.

5. Do you travel?

Yes we love to travel. All our packages includes a travelling fee within a 25km radius from our studio. Thereafter travelling is billed at R5 p/km.

*For events and weddings 1+ hours away there will be an additional charge for accommodation if we required to work after 7PM.

6. Do you help with planning our engagement session?

YES! Upon booking you will receive a WEDDING GUIDE. It's filled with valuble info from planning your engagement shoot, timeline suggestions, what to expect on the day and much more!

7. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

We completely understand that plans can change. Please note that your deposit is non-refundable if you decide to cancel your booking. If you need to move your date, we’ll do our best to accommodate you, depending on availability.

Because your date is reserved just for you, cancellations made less than three months before your session or wedding will still require full payment. We hope you understand that it’s often not possible for us to rebook another client on such short notice.

8. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

We offer photobooks, canvasses & framed prints. These can be ordered directly from your private online gallery when you receive your photos.

9. Do you have a recommended videographer?

We shoot a few candid video clips of the highlights of the day and include this in your music slide. If you want comprehensive video coverage please enquire for pricing for a dedicated videographer.

10. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Of course! You’re more than welcome to share a few inspiration images or ideas that reflect the look and feel you love. It’s a great way for me to understand what’s meaningful to you.

During your session, I use a Flow Posing approach—guiding you through natural prompts and easy movements that blend seamlessly into one another. This helps you feel comfortable in front of the camera, keeps things relaxed and authentic, and ensures your photos feel true to you.

While I can’t follow a long list of specific poses or recreate full Pinterest galleries, I’ll always make sure to capture the moments and emotions that matter most to you, in a way that complements my style and keeps the experience fun and effortless.

11. Can we meet before the session?

Yes, definitely! I love connecting with my couples before the big day to chat through your plans and vision.

Every wedding includes a Pre-Wedding Consultation where we’ll discuss your timeline, locations, and photography expectations to make sure everything runs smoothly.

We can meet in person—either at your wedding venue or another spot that works for you. We can also combine your consultation with your engagement session as its an easy, relaxed way to get to know each other before the wedding day.

For portrait & events shoots this consultation takes place via WhatsApp or email.

12. How long till I receive the final photos?

Portrait Shoots & Events

You’ll receive a few sneak peeks within 2–3 days to relive some highlights right away. Your full online gallery will be ready within 3–4 weeks and will stay live for 4 weeks so you can download and share your favourites.

Weddings

You’ll receive a private online preview of about 50 images within 2–5 days after your wedding—perfect for sharing those first memories with loved ones. Your full gallery of edited images will be ready within 6–8 weeks and available online for 6 months. You’ll also be able to order prints and albums directly from your gallery when you’re ready.

Extras

If your gallery link expires before you’ve downloaded your photos, a small reload fee of R150 applies.

Need your images sooner? Rush delivery is available for R500 (portrait sessions), R800 (events), and R1 500 (weddings).
